My furnace broke down in the midst of the biggest snow storm and cold snap this season in Utah. I called and Aaron Hubbard did his best diagnosing my system over the phone with his colleagues having me troubleshoot via FaceTime and hoping my system could have a simple part fix rather than a system replacement. It was clear my 17 year old furnace was dunzo. They were able to hook me up with the last of a top end system that was being phased out for a more expensive system and get it installed the very next day. Jaxon and his assistant showed up on time, put their booties on and laid down protective barrier on the stairs to walk on. Very respectful and knowledgeable and went right to work. They removed my system and took the time to explain why regular maintenance is important and showed me that every tube in my heat exchange was cracked and could have lent to carbon monoxide leaking into my home. Thank goodness my old system stopped working before something like that happened! I'm so thankful that Golden Rule was able to help me so quickly. They are the best!! Awesome experience! From the initial contact with the manager Aaron, to the install team of Jaxon and Trent, the install of my Aprilaire 800 steam humidifier was superb. Job performed exactly as quoted (including connection to my smart thermostat) and no hidden charges. Very polite, professional, and thorough. Would highly recommend.

I needed a furnace replaced and Aaron did a great job explaining what I needed and what my options were. Everything was super transparent and I was very comfortable hiring Golden Rule. The next day, Jackson and Collin did an awesome job with the installation. It is a thing of beauty. They walked me through everything with the new thermostat and answered all my questions. My experience with Nick was wonderful. We had a great conversation as we walked through our house and he performed the plumbing inspection. I thought I good at maintaining my home, but Nick taught me additional things that will be helpful. I will use Nick and Golden Rile for future plumbing needs.

Friendly staff, excellent communication, and convenient next day scheduling, but they lost a star on pricing. Maybe larger jobs are more cost effective, but we were quoted $450 for just the labor to replace a garbage disposal ($700 total). I might consider them again for any larger projects we might need in the future, but we ended up seeking a different option for this one.

Nick O. came to give me an estimate and also gave me an explanation of everything he would be doing, answering all of my questions. When he arrived to do the work, he was courteous, professional and very respectful of our property. He protected our flooring, wore shoe protectors and did excellent and timely work. He then showed me explained everything he had done and again answered all of my questions. I would hire him and Golden Rule again in a heartbeat. Thank you.
